Information Regarding Allergy-Friendly Meals

At Yumori Tanakaya, we strive to accommodate guests with food allergies so that everyone can enjoy their meals as much as possible.

However, we kindly ask for your understanding that we are unable to accommodate the following:
(1)Requests from guests with life-threatening, severe, or multiple allergies
(2)Allergies to wheat, eggs, soybeans, or yam.
(3)Allergies to meat or mushrooms in robata-style meals.
(4)Allergy notifications made only at check-in.

For allergy-related requests, please carefully read the following information and contact us by phone no later than 5 days prior to your stay, by 4:00 PM.

Important Notes
・For single-ingredient allergies such as buckwheat, shrimp, or crab, we can remove the specific ingredient from your meal. However, ingredients like wheat, eggs, and soybeans are commonly used in seasonings and cannot be completely excluded.

・All meals are prepared in the same kitchen using the same equipment, including dishwashing machines. Therefore, there is a risk of cross-contamination, and we cannot guarantee complete elimination of allergens.

・While we check the ingredients based on information provided by suppliers and manufacturers, we cannot guarantee allergen-free handling during production or processing stages outside our facility.

・For robata-style dining, the main ingredients are meats (beef, chicken, pork) and mushrooms. We are unable to accommodate any substitutions or allergy requests for this style. In such cases, we kindly ask you to choose the in-room dining option instead.

・If you have any allergies, please be sure to bring your own medication or EpiPen in case of emergency. In the event of an anaphylactic reaction, we will immediately call for emergency medical assistance.

Due to the reasons above, we regret that we cannot offer completely allergen-free meals. The final decision on whether to consume any dishes must be made by the guest (diner) themselves.

For children’s meals, bringing your own food is allowed. Please feel free to consult us in advance.

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
